Region CAER: 
- Was formed in 1991 as a non-profit regional mutual aid emergency
response association
- Facilitates coordinated emergency response covering a 700 sq.
km. region
- Includes 9 municipalities, 32 industries, and 5 related
organizations (transportation and government)
- 100,000 urban and rural residents
- 4000 member employees
- 400 emergency responders including fire, police, ambulance,
dangerous goods and disaster services
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
A volunteer Board of Directors,
representing large and small industry, elected municipal leaders, and
the community, manages Northeast Region CAER.
