MEMBERSHIP
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for membership, an applicant must meet AT LEAST ONE of
the following criteria to the satisfaction of the Northeast Region CAER Board of Directors:
- must have first response capability within Northeast Region CAER boundaries, or
- be involved in manufacturing, transportation, storage or other activities
within Northeast Region CAER boundaries that include materials or processes presenting
a significant risk to the public, or
- be a municipality that falls fully or partially within the Northeast Region CAER
boundary
- any other applicant may be granted membership by resolution of a majority
of the Board
All members must pay the membership fee as established by the Board.
